Copper Hills’ 3rd Grade students are excited about our upcoming field trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Thursday, November 21, 2019. The Monterey Bay Aquarium offers an educational “Ocean Explorers” program for students. This program will highlight the marine life found in the Monterey Bay Area. Students will have an opportunity to view the aquarium’s amazing sea life exhibits and make connections to the study of life science, a science standard in 3rd grade.
Cost of Trip & Items Needed:
The cost of the field trip is $25.00 per student. Students will need to bring a lunch & drink in a disposable bag. Check the weather as a jacket may be necessary. Students may bring a small backpack, water bottle, snacks and money if they wish. Students will be responsible for these items during the trip.
If you are interested in chaperoning the Monterey Bay Aquarium field trip, please fill out your information on Permission Click. Chaperone numbers are limited. All chaperones will need to have their volunteer paperwork, TB test on file at CH, and ride the bus to chaperone the field trip. Chaperones will pay $25.00 for the trip. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or the CH office. Thank you.
